New year, new food!
Starting from September 17, 2025, we are launching an exciting new item in all our canteens and cafeterias: our “Renuggets by Restopolis”, homemade chicken nuggets.
100% chicken, 0% gimmicks
But beware, these aren’t just any nuggets:
- 100% chicken,
- no flavor enhancers,
- carefully prepared in our kitchens.
The result? A crispy bite on the outside, tender on the inside, and above all, an authentic taste that will delight both children and adults alike.
A local story… that went around the world
If we talk about a “local product,” it’s for two reasons:
- Because we prioritize locally sourced ingredients,
- But also because the very story of the nugget… is Luxembourgish!
In the 1970s, René Arend, a Luxembourgish chef trained in Strasbourg, crossed the Atlantic and settled in the United States. Initially tasked with working on “onion nuggets,” he eventually developed a product that would conquer the world: the chicken nugget. Now a symbol of finger food, it actually has its roots here, in the Grand Duchy.
At Restopolis, we wanted to pay tribute to this visionary chef by naming our new creation “Renuggets”.

A new classic to enjoy from the start of the school year
Starting September 17, our homemade Renuggets will be waiting for you in all Restopolis restaurants. Whether it's for a quick lunch break, a meal with friends, or a little treat after classes, these crispy bites are sure to satisfy every craving.
