“Quality Week”: a tasty and inspiring way to kick off the school year at Restopolis

For our teams, the school year begins much earlier with a key annual highlight: Quality Week. A full week dedicated to continuous training where learning, innovation, and sharing come together.

The official launch of the new school year

In early September, our chefs and kitchen staff took part in a series of workshops led by internal experts and external partners.

On the agenda:

  • food hygiene and safety,
  • allergen management,
  • communication,

and, of course, exploring and practicing delicious new recipes.

The goal: enrich expertise, strengthen skills, and ensure the highest quality of service in all our school and university canteens.

The week wrapped up last Friday with a friendly, inspiring event held in a relaxed atmosphere — a chance for our teams to connect and recharge.

The official launch of the new school year

As tradition has it, the 2025/26 school year officially kicked off with the annual start-of-year meeting held at the EduPôle in Walferdange. Under the theme “Find your sweet balance”, Restopolis director Monique Ludovicy presented the year’s new projects and guidelines to head chefs, site managers, and administrative staff.

It was a highlight moment for sharing ideas, discussing upcoming projects, and starting the new school year with energy and enthusiasm!
