Does each Restopolis canteen have its own kitchen?

My myCard
What should I do in case of loss or theft of my "myCard"?
Immediately inform the administration of your school by any means of the loss or theft of your card so that the card can be suspended. You can request a new card from the administration of your school.
In case of theft or loss of the card, the holder is entitled to a free replacement card. For any other unforeseen replacement of the card, the user must bear the cost of the replaced card.
The new card will be automatically linked to the Restopolis account of its holder, and the old card will be deactivated.
When is my card renewed?
The card is renewed free of charge every three to four years.
If the holder of a myCard changes school or administration, they will receive a new card. The new card will be automatically linked to the holder’s Restopolis account, and the old card will be deactivated.
Is my money lost in case of loss or theft of my "myCard"?
No! The myCard does not contain any money! The remaining credit balance on the Restopolis account at the time of deactivation of the lost or stolen card will be transferred to the new card.
What should I do if I don’t have an IAM login?
At the start of each school year, an IAM activation code is sent by mail to all new teachers and students in secondary education.
With this activation code, users can go to the IAM portal (http://iam.education.lu) to activate their IAM account, which will also give them access to the Restopolis portal using their IAM login and password.
Users who do not have an activation code can request one on the IAM portal. Depending on the user’s preference, the activation code will be sent either by postal mail to their home address or to the local IAM desk, which the school’s IT contact and IT technician have access to for printing and handing over to the user in person.
Eating at the canteen
Can learners choose their dish?
Yes! Students and adults can choose from several starters, main courses, and desserts, all prepared on site in our canteens. Additionally, each Restopolis canteen invites its guests to create their own salads from fresh, seasonal products at the salad bar. In some canteens, we also offer homemade pizzas, pasta, and woks. Not to forget: all our canteens offer a full range of vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Do you serve snacks in the morning for recess?
During the morning break, we offer fruits, cakes, sandwiches, and mueslis in our cafeterias and canteens, all homemade, and we sell artisanal pastries made with local ingredients.
Does my child need to reserve his dish?
Meal reservation is optional! However, students and adults have the option to reserve their meal provided they have a CGIE IAM account.
A reservation can be made via the Menu section of this site or via our app (Android & iOS), up to 5 days in advance. All reservations must be made no later than 8:00 PM the day before.
All reservations or cancellations must be made no later than 8:30 AM on the same day.
Reservation guarantees that they will get their preferred dish. We strongly recommend making a reservation, especially as an important tool in the fight against food waste.
Note: Before making a reservation, the customer must log in using their IAM identifier on this site or have activated the Restopolis app on their smartphone. Only then will the “Reservation” button appear in the “Menu” section.
Reservations or cancellations with canteen staff are not possible.
My child does not eat meat; do you offer vegetarian dishes?
Yes, our canteens offer one and sometimes several vegetarian dishes daily. In addition to this dish, our guests can create a large plate themselves with salad from the salad bar. To learn more about our food concept, please visit our website http://www.food4future.lu.
Can you guarantee that Restopolis serves balanced and healthy meals?
Restopolis is committed to offering its customers homemade dishes, prepared on-site by a qualified chef and their team, using fresh ingredients that, as much as possible, come from local production and agriculture. 35% of the products used by Restopolis chefs and sold come from the local region, and 6% are organic. See our 2025 goals on the website http://www.food4future.lu.
Can I order starches and/or vegetables without meat or fish?
No, Restopolis only offers dishes that contain all the components so that children and adults are provided with balanced meals. Of course, vegetarian and vegan dishes are not subject to this rule.
Do you serve vegetarian dishes?
Yes! Our offer includes at least one vegetarian and one vegan dish every day. You can find more information on our website http://www.food4future.lu.

By law, Restopolis is required to declare the 14 allergens. You will find them on our menus displayed in our canteens and cafeterias, in the “Menu” section of this site, and on our smartphone app. Each guest who suffers from a food allergy can compose their meal based on the display of these 14 allergens.
In case of severe food allergy or intolerance, the customer can order a complete hypoallergenic meal tray from the Natama brand.
To benefit from a hypoallergenic meal tray, please proceed as follows:
- Download the form “PAI – Food Allergies” at https://guichet.public.lu/fr/citoyens/famille/parents/assistance-enfance/projet-accueil-individualise.html
- Have it completed by your doctor and submit it by email to menus@restopolis.lu.
As soon as your request has been approved, our service will inform the manager of the canteen where your child regularly has lunch.
My Restopolis account
Can I pay in cash in Restopolis canteens and cafeterias?
No! The only payment method we accept is the myCard.
À chaque carte myCard est associé un compte Restopolis qui peut être chargé via notre site internet moyennant une carte de crédit (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) ou bien via Payconiq.
Customers of the University of Luxembourg, the Police School, and some other institutions have their own cards. Since these cards are synchronized with our IT systems, they are compatible with the myCard and can be used as a means of payment in the canteen.
