RESTOPOLIS.LU uses client-side cookies—small text files that allow the analysis of user navigation information (such as visit frequency, visit duration, pages viewed, language preferences, etc.). These cookies are placed by restopolis.lu in a designated directory on the user’s computer. They contain, among other data, the name of the server that wrote them, a unique numerical identifier, and an expiration date. The unique identifier enables restopolis.lu to recognize the user’s computer on each visit. Session cookies are deleted from the user’s computer when the session ends. However, persistent cookies remain on the user’s computer for one month after the session ends.
