Cookie Management

Last updated: June 6, 2025

RESTOPOLIS.LU uses client-side cookies—small text files that allow the analysis of user navigation information (such as visit frequency, visit duration, pages viewed, language preferences, etc.). These cookies are placed by restopolis.lu in a designated directory on the user’s computer. They contain, among other data, the name of the server that wrote them, a unique numerical identifier, and an expiration date. The unique identifier enables restopolis.lu to recognize the user’s computer on each visit. Session cookies are deleted from the user’s computer when the session ends. However, persistent cookies remain on the user’s computer for one month after the session ends.

The user can decide whether the Restopolis web server is allowed to store cookies on their computer. At any time, the user can configure their browser settings to refuse or block the acceptance and storage of cookies. Additionally, the user can delete cookies that have already been stored at any time through their browser.

The use of certain features on the RESTOPOLIS.LU website may be limited or disabled if the user refuses to accept the site’s cookies. Therefore, it is recommended that the user configure their browser to accept cookies from the RESTOPOLIS.LU site.
